Congregations of the North Carolina Synod can be found all across the state—in the mountains, at the beach, in cities and in the country. Some congregations have celebrated over 200 years of ministry, others are newly-organized. Find NC Synod congregations using this search.
Model Constitution
ELCA congregations are asked to keep their congregational constitutions updated. Changes to constitutions must be submitted to Synod Council for approval. Steps for this process are outlined here in addition to tips and a checklist. The model constitution and additional information can be found on the ELCA website.
